GENERAL INFORMATION 

Pre-Registration Process

Reserve your place in the Registration Queue; requests for registration will be reviewed on an individual basis. Once approved, the registrant will be referred to a separate website for registration and securing their accommodations if they are accepted as Face-to-Face participants. FTF Participants will be required to be fully vaccinated at the time of the meeting (see COVID tab), and will have access to a COVID-protected "bubble" at the Maritim Conference and Convention Center".

Other "Virtual" Participants  will have access to the meeting in progress but will not be granted access to the COVID-protected "bubble"at the Conference Center.

Registration Process

The deadline for Registration will be March 31, 2022. Registrations will be accepted after that date subject to space available as well as a late registration surcharge

Travel Planning and Visa Information

The Fabry Disease Update Conference will not make travel reservations for any participant. Passport, visa and travel arrangements are the personal responsibility of each participant.

Official language

The official language of the Meeting will be English.

Technical facilities

Facilities will be available for computer presentations. It is essential that speakers provide a copy of their presentation on a data stick at least 2 hours prior to their session. 

Program and Abstract Book

Lunches and coffee breaks

Breakfast, lunches and coffee breaks will be served in the Meeting area, immediately adjacent to the Posters.

Poster Presentations

Powerpoint versions of accepted poster submissions must be received by April 15, 2022. Approved poster presenters will be sent a ppt template for preparing their submission.  All posters will be generated from the completed templates, and will be hanging at the venue before the start of the meeting.  The organizers will be submitting the completed poster templates to the vendor on behalf of all submitters.  Posters will be on display throughout the entire meeting.

Oral Presentations

A committee will judge the final submitted posters before the meeting and during the Opening Poster Session on Sunday evening. Four (4) posters will be selected for short oral presentations (8 slides, 10 minutes) on Tuesday afternoon. If you wish to be considered for the oral presentation, you should come to the meeting with 8 slides in hand in case your poster is selected as one of the 4 finalists.
